Bringing live entertainment to Nevada, Iowa

About

Beetus Productions, LLC, was formed in 2023 by Dane Nealson. It was created out of a thirst for more live musical entertainment ventures within the city of Nevada, Iowa, capitalizing on the variety of successes our community has seen in recent years when it comes to bringing nationally known music entertainment.

In 2020, Dane set out on an ambitious project in his role as president of Runners United Nevada. The concept was unique; ACM-Award winning country star Bryan White would come to Nevada, run a 5k, and then perform a post-race concert for race goers and community members alike. After a Covid-induced postponement to 2021, fellow country star Wade Hayes was added to the show, which finally took place in May 2021.

At this point, the movement to bring big-name entertainment to Nevada began to take a new shape. The board of Runners United Nevada wanted to focus more on running races and less on organizing concerts; at the same time, initial discussions were being held about a pizza festival to be held in Nevada. This led to the creation of Pizza Pie Looza in 2022, which featured country superstar Jo Dee Messina. Later that year, Dane led the charge to bring Bryan White back to Nevada for a Christmas show in Nevada’s historic Camelot Theater.

In 2023, the momentum continued, with country stars Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin, and Collin Raye bringing their Roots & Boots Tour to Nevada for the second edition of Pizza Pie Looza. In September, Dane set forth to bring country stars Ricochet to the Camelot Theater. As the show drew near, the idea for Beetus Productions was born. As Nevada continues to make itself a destination for live music, Beetus Productions will be at the forefront, working to bring a variety of acts, big and small, to town in a variety of venues and settings.
